Board Membership
Susan is available to fill open board seats in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. She has extensive board of directors experience, including past and present membership on the board of seven organizations.

Current Board Memberships
Quanta Capital Holdings, Ltd. - Quanta is a publicly traded (NASDAQ:QNTA) Bermuda insurance holding company that operates a Lloyd's syndicate in London.  The Company is in the process of running off its remaining business lines.  Susan was invited to join the board of directors in July 2006 in order to provide analytic and insurance expertise during the Company’s wind-up either through selling or running off its operations. Susan currently serves as Chairwoman of the Finance Committee and as a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees.

Hanover Investors Limited - Founded in the UK in 2002, Hanover is an investment firm focused on undervalued opportunities, in particular, businesses with significant potential for turnaround and recovery. They invest primarily in public market securities, typically equity, and new equity from their own funds and institutional investors for leveraged buyouts and recapitalization of public companies.

Past Board Memberships
Ceres Group, Inc. - Ceres is a formerly publicly traded insurance holding company that provides health and life insurance through two business segments. The senior segment includes senior health, life and annuity products for Americans, 55 years old and older, and the medical segment includes catastrophic and comprehensive major medical health insurance for individuals, families, associations and small businesses.  Sold to Great American Financial Resources Inc. in August 2006.  Served as a board member and member of audit committee from February 2000 to August 2006.

PXRE Group, Ltd. - PXRE is a publicly traded (NYSE:PXT) insurance holding company that provides reinsurance products and services to a worldwide marketplace through subsidiary operations in the United States, Europe, Bermuda and Barbados. The Company's primary focus is to provide property catastrophe reinsurance and retrocessional coverage to a worldwide group of clients.  Served as a board member and member of the human resources committee from April 2002 to April 2005.

Universal American Financial Group, Inc. - Universal American is a publicly traded (NASDAQ:UHCO) specialty health and life insurance holding company, with an emphasis on providing a broad array of health insurance and managed care products and services to the growing senior population. Served as a board member and as chairwoman of the compensation committee from July 1999 to December 2003.

Access CoverageCorp, Inc. - Access CoverageCorp was an insurance services technology company that provided online sales solutions to enable commercial insurers to more efficiently sell their products to small businesses; technology eliminated the need for human underwriting, thereby cutting time and cost from the process and improving the consistency of insurance underwriting decisions.  Sold to The Hartford Insurance Company in November 2001. Served as a board member from May 2000 to November 2001.

The All Stars Project, Inc. - ASP is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting human development through the use of an innovative performance-based model. The ASP creates outside of school, educational and performing arts activities for thousands of poor and minority young people. It sponsors community and experimental theatre, develops leadership training and pursues volunteer initiatives that build and strengthen communities. Served as a board member from January 1998 to December 2000.
